FAQs for Tearfree on her one-month anniversary

Tearfree, do you work for the Softwood Lumber industry?

No, absolutely not, but maybe I should.

What is your blogging goal?

I want my blog to pop up on the first results page when people google softwood lumber.

Have you given up on seeing Reject the Koolaid in the Technorati top 100 blogs?

Not at all. That’s still my goal by January 1, 2007.

Tearfree, shouldn’t you be doing something more serious with your time given that you are an academic?

No. I think whoever’s behind Stuff on My Cat is a genius. Blogs are a kind of performance art in a new medium. This blog is an on-going experiment in the truthiness of emerging new media narratives.

Have you planned for the future? You can’t go on blogging about softwood lumber forever.

That’s what you said about the Mummy Bloggers a month ago and just look where we are today.

But it looks like this softwood lumber thing is pretty much settled?

“Fiscal imbalance” seems to have a lot of unexploited blogging potential.

Fiscal imbalance!!!???

Hey, I’m now in Wikipedia under softwood lumber.

On the very last line, Tearfree.

We all have to start somewhere. And look how far we’ve come in just one month.

Any final thoughts?

Mojitos for everyne this weekend!

Your blog has become compulsory reading in Washington trade circles. It hs truly helped members of congress understand what a deeply-felt issue this is for their northern neighbours.

Thank you, Tearfree!

I too would like your thoughts on Canadian-Haitian relations and how Canada can become a global powerhouse.

p.s. Nice shoes. Would go nicely with many of my power suits.

Stuff on My Cat is indeed brilliant.

Check out this site:

Especially the disturbing photo-shopped picture of Nicole Richie.

Hilarious.

That's right. You just keep worrying about softwood lumber and leave us and our cows alone, eh.
